The session was hosted by IDTC participants Manuella Pires and Cinderella Nowak, and together with Jitong Lyu., they delivered their 3 min pitch presentations updating the group on their PhD projects.
Guest presenter Director of MITRU, Chady Barkil provided and overview of the Molecular Imaging and Therapy Research Unit (MITRU), located within the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) in Adelaide.
MITRU plays a crucial role in advancing nuclear medicine, offering state-of-the-art facilities and expertise that support both clinical services and innovative research initiatives.
Lucky for us, it was a maintenance day, so we were able to get up close to the cyclotron, tour the facilities, and view the very expensive water.
